f/1.8

f/1.8 (f1-period-8) was first created back in 2004 when our founder’s hobby for photography grew into a full blown obsession. The first iterations of the site ran on MoveableType but the limitations of the system for use as a photoblog quickly became apparent. After a few years of hacking on MoveableType, he finally decided to revamp the site and it’s publishing system entirely. Now built using Django, F/1.8 has the flexibility he always wanted and the foundation has been laid for the site to expand.
